enVision Community Living Wins a Free WebsiteSunrize Group announces that enVision is the winner of the “Win a Free Website for Charities” contest. In an effort to help charities as they build their own business, Sunrize Group launched a campaign 8 weeks ago where they asked people in their network to nominate a charity, in exchange for providing a referral for new business. The charity with the most nominations won a free website makeover. Through the competition numerous charities were nominated. The charity with the highest number of nominations won the grand prize of a free website makeover. Sunrize Group is very happy to announce that enVision Community Living has won this prize. enVision Community Living (www.envisioncl.com) is a non-profit, community based organization in Steinbach, Manitoba committed to delivering supports and services that provide individuals who live with a mental handicap opportunities for personal growth and development, and the opportunity to enjoy the life of their choosing in the community. Beginning with a one-room/one teacher school in 1957 the program has grown and developed into a multifaceted organization providing a broad range of residential, independent living, and daytime vocational supports. Ed Barkman, enVision's Executive Director, was delighted when informed that his organization had been chosen as the contest winner. He noted "after a great deal of time and energy invested in a re-naming/re-branding of the organization over the last year, a major makeover of our website was the next strategic step in our corporate identity project. What great timing! Sunrize would certainly have been one of the web development firms we would have approached to do this project for us. Now we can move ahead without concerns about how to put together a quality site without breaking the bank.” Randy Wolgemuth, President of Sunrize Group, has always been very dedicated to helping non-profit organizations in communities such as Landmark and Steinbach where he has lived his whole life and is currently involved with various organizations such as Landmark Chamber of Commerce, and the Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers. “We saw many great organizations nominated and it would have been a pleasure to work with any of them, but we are very excited to work with enVvision and help them take their organization to the next level with a great website.”
